Question 1

Was $6,400 a good price for this 2023 FORD RANGER?

Accepted Answer

353 comparable 2023 FORD RANGER listings sold at auction for a median of $8,588, spanning $4,500 to $13,800. At $6,400 this one went 25% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD RANGER?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 FORD RANGER was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

How far is this FORD RANGER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - RIVERVIEW. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

This FORD RANGER has water/flood and rollover damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 21,535 miles high for a 2023 FORD RANGER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 FORD RANGER listings at auction averaged 43,701 miles across 353 sales, so at 21,535 miles this one sits 51% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2023 FORD RANGER come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with water/flood damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
