Question 1

What do front & rear 2022 FORD MUSTANG models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 22 recorded sales of the 2022 FORD MUSTANG with front & rear damage, the median was $6,750, from $3,625 to $12,450. That is 22% below the $8,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $12,800 a good price for this 2022 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

1589 comparable 2022 FORD MUSTANG listings sold at auction for a median of $8,600, spanning $4,350 to $16,900. At $12,800 this one went 49% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this FORD MUSTANG from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NC - CHARLOTTE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 280 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 45,514 miles high for a 2022 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 FORD MUSTANG listings at auction averaged 41,839 miles across 1589 sales, so at 45,514 miles this one sits 9% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 FORD MUSTANG. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

This FORD MUSTANG has front & rear and unknown damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
