Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2017 FORD MUSTANG models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 35 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD MUSTANG with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $5,450, from $3,250 to $12,000. That is 1% below the $5,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $14,600 a good price for this 2017 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

2434 comparable 2017 FORD MUSTANG listings sold at auction for a median of $5,500, spanning $3,550 to $10,200. At $14,600 this one went 165% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD MUSTANG was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 FORD MUSTANG. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 89,950 miles high for a 2017 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD MUSTANG listings at auction averaged 95,927 miles across 2434 sales, so at 89,950 miles this one sits 6% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2017 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was RECOVERY HUB. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
