Question 1

What do rear 2016 FORD MUSTANG models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 89 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD MUSTANG with rear damage, the median was $5,400, from $3,650 to $8,600. That is 12% above the $4,825 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a non-repairable mean for this FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD MUSTANG was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 FORD MUSTANG. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 117,326 miles high for a 2016 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD MUSTANG listings at auction averaged 98,556 miles across 2481 sales, so at 117,326 miles this one sits 19% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This FORD MUSTANG has rear and right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Who sold this 2016 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
