What do hail 2016 FORD MUSTANG models sell for?

Across 48 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD MUSTANG with hail damage, the median was $6,900, from $4,050 to $12,500. That is 42% above the $4,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $9,900 a good price for this 2016 FORD MUSTANG?

2477 comparable 2016 FORD MUSTANG listings sold at auction for a median of $4,850, spanning $3,300 to $8,950. At $9,900 this one went 104% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD MUSTANG sell for?

The insurer put this 2016 FORD MUSTANG's pre-damage retail value at $15,594. It sold for $9,900 — 37% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD MUSTANG?

This 2016 FORD MUSTANG was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 FORD MUSTANG. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Is 135,583 miles high for a 2016 FORD MUSTANG?

Comparable 2016 FORD MUSTANG listings at auction averaged 98,542 miles across 2477 sales, so at 135,583 miles this one sits 38% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
