Question 1

Was $6,300 a good price for this 2011 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

22 comparable 2011 FORD MUSTANG listings sold at auction for a median of $5,175, spanning $4,300 to $6,500. At $6,300 this one went 22% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a certificate of title (p) mean for this FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

This 2011 FORD MUSTANG was sold on a certificate of title (p). The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

How far is this FORD MUSTANG from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - ORLANDO SOUTH. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2011 FORD MUSTANG. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This FORD MUSTANG has mechanical and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 114,474 miles high for a 2011 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2011 FORD MUSTANG listings at auction averaged 106,001 miles across 22 sales, so at 114,474 miles this one sits 8% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
