Question 1

What do hail 2023 FORD MUSTANG models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 13 recorded sales of the 2023 FORD MUSTANG with hail damage, the median was $10,850, from $8,050 to $13,600. That is 11% above the $9,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,150 a good price for this 2023 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

1075 comparable 2023 FORD MUSTANG listings sold at auction for a median of $9,800, spanning $4,950 to $16,700. At $7,150 this one went 27% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This FORD MUSTANG sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a clear mean for this FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 FORD MUSTANG was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 FORD MUSTANG. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 17,479 miles high for a 2023 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 FORD MUSTANG listings at auction averaged 30,897 miles across 1075 sales, so at 17,479 miles this one sits 43% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
