Question 1

What do hail 2018 CHEVROLET TAHOE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 54 recorded sales of the 2018 CHEVROLET TAHOE with hail damage, the median was $8,975, from $5,200 to $13,800. That is 32% above the $6,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this CHEVROLET TAHOE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in IA - CEDAR RAPIDS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 1,000 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $650-$950, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 CHEVROLET TAHOE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 144,361 miles high for a 2018 CHEVROLET TAHOE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 CHEVROLET TAHOE listings at auction averaged 114,438 miles across 1276 sales, so at 144,361 miles this one sits 26% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 1GNSKCKJ7JR391257?

Accepted Answer

1GNSKCKJ7JR391257 identifies this specific 2018 CHEVROLET TAHOE in black with a 6.2l 8 engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Did this 2018 CHEVROLET TAHOE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with hail damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
