Question 1

What do side 2018 FORD FUSION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 159 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD FUSION with side damage, the median was $3,950, from $3,150 to $5,600. That is 6% below the $4,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,450 a good price for this 2018 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

2061 comparable 2018 FORD FUSION listings sold at auction for a median of $4,200, spanning $3,150 to $10,700. At $4,450 this one went 6% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD FUSION sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 FORD FUSION's pre-damage retail value at $32,051. It sold for $4,450 — 86% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a permit no brand - unfit mean for this FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 FORD FUSION was sold on a permit no brand - unfit. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 5

This FORD FUSION has side and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 75,039 miles high for a 2018 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 FORD FUSION listings at auction averaged 77,631 miles across 2061 sales, so at 75,039 miles this one sits 3% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
