Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2018 FORD FUSION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 71 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD FUSION with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $4,425, from $3,200 to $6,500. That is 5% above the $4,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,500 a good price for this 2018 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

2061 comparable 2018 FORD FUSION listings sold at auction for a median of $4,200, spanning $3,150 to $10,700. At $8,500 this one went 102% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a certificate of title (p) mean for this FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 FORD FUSION was sold on a certificate of title (p). The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

How far is this FORD FUSION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - TALLAHASSEE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

This FORD FUSION has minor dent/scratches and normal wear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 119,724 miles high for a 2018 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 FORD FUSION listings at auction averaged 77,631 miles across 2061 sales, so at 119,724 miles this one sits 54% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
