Question 1

What do mechanical 2017 FORD FUSION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 10 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD FUSION with mechanical damage, the median was $3,900, from $3,650 to $4,250. That is 3% above the $3,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,250 a good price for this 2017 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

1671 comparable 2017 FORD FUSION listings sold at auction for a median of $3,800, spanning $3,100 to $5,300. At $4,250 this one went 12% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a certificate of title mean for this FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD FUSION was sold on a certificate of title. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

How far is this FORD FUSION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in TX - AUSTIN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 166,086 miles high for a 2017 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD FUSION listings at auction averaged 87,676 miles across 1671 sales, so at 166,086 miles this one sits 89% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2017 FORD FUSION come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with mechanical damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
