Question 1

What do rear end 2020 FORD FUSION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 348 recorded sales of the 2020 FORD FUSION with rear end damage, the median was $4,050, from $3,150 to $6,000. That is 2% below the $4,150 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,350 a good price for this 2020 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

2307 comparable 2020 FORD FUSION listings sold at auction for a median of $4,150, spanning $3,150 to $7,400. At $3,350 this one went 19% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This FORD FUSION sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD FUSION sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 FORD FUSION's pre-damage retail value at $12,159. It sold for $3,350 — 72% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 5

How far is this FORD FUSION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in OH - COLUMBUS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 430 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $375-$525, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Who sold this 2020 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was GEICO. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
