Question 1

What do left front 2018 FORD FUSION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 34 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD FUSION with left front damage, the median was $3,775, from $3,175 to $5,450. That is 11% below the $4,250 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,200 a good price for this 2018 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

2117 comparable 2018 FORD FUSION listings sold at auction for a median of $4,250, spanning $3,150 to $10,900. At $8,200 this one went 93% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this FORD FUSION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in UT - OGDEN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 FORD FUSION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 34,350 miles high for a 2018 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 FORD FUSION listings at auction averaged 76,679 miles across 2117 sales, so at 34,350 miles this one sits 55% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2018 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
