Question 1

Was $4,325 a good price for this 2017 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

1657 comparable 2017 FORD FUSION listings sold at auction for a median of $3,750, spanning $3,075 to $5,300. At $4,325 this one went 15% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD FUSION sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 FORD FUSION's pre-damage retail value at $16,815. It sold for $4,325 — 74% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a salvage (new jersey) mean for this FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD FUSION was sold on a salvage (new jersey). A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

Is 69,825 miles high for a 2017 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD FUSION listings at auction averaged 87,721 miles across 1657 sales, so at 69,825 miles this one sits 20% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This FORD FUSION has front end and damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Who sold this 2017 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was New Jersey Manufacturing Group. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
