Question 1

What do rear end 2017 FORD FUSION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 283 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD FUSION with rear end damage, the median was $3,750, from $3,100 to $4,950. That is level with the $3,750 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,050 a good price for this 2017 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

1656 comparable 2017 FORD FUSION listings sold at auction for a median of $3,750, spanning $3,075 to $5,300. At $3,050 this one went 19% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD FUSION sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 FORD FUSION's pre-damage retail value at $13,713. It sold for $3,050 — 78% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD FUSION was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

This FORD FUSION has rear end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 32,699 miles high for a 2017 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD FUSION listings at auction averaged 87,694 miles across 1656 sales, so at 32,699 miles this one sits 63% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
