Question 1

Was $4,000 a good price for this 2015 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

58 comparable 2015 FORD FUSION listings sold at auction for a median of $4,200, spanning $3,200 to $5,500. At $4,000 this one went 5% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This FORD FUSION sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a clear-nj mean for this FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

This 2015 FORD FUSION was sold on a clear-nj. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

Is 181,968 miles high for a 2015 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2015 FORD FUSION listings at auction averaged 88,664 miles across 58 sales, so at 181,968 miles this one sits 105% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

How far is this FORD FUSION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NJ - MANVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 30 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2015 FORD FUSION from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2015 FORD FUSION was listed at IAAI as lot 40599762 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
