Was $6,200 a good price for this 2016 FORD FUSION?

477 comparable 2016 FORD FUSION listings sold at auction for a median of $3,600, spanning $3,050 to $5,000. At $6,200 this one went 72% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD FUSION sell for?

The insurer put this 2016 FORD FUSION's pre-damage retail value at $7,500. It sold for $6,200 — 17% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a cert of title-rebuilt (p) mean for this FORD FUSION?

This 2016 FORD FUSION was sold on a cert of title-rebuilt (p). The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 FORD FUSION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

How far is this FORD FUSION from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in FL - MIAMI CENTRAL. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
