Question 1

What do front end 2017 FORD FOCUS RS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 19 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD FOCUS RS with front end damage, the median was $5,750, from $3,500 to $10,400. That is 21% below the $7,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,500 a good price for this 2017 FORD FOCUS RS?

Accepted Answer

36 comparable 2017 FORD FOCUS RS listings sold at auction for a median of $7,300, spanning $3,550 to $10,500. At $5,500 this one went 25% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This FORD FOCUS RS sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a junk-ok mean for this FORD FOCUS RS?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD FOCUS RS was sold on a junk-ok. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 5

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 FORD FOCUS RS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 1 miles high for a 2017 FORD FOCUS RS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD FOCUS RS listings at auction averaged 65,846 miles across 36 sales, so at 1 miles this one sits 100% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
