Question 1

What do front end 2017 FORD FOCUS RS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 18 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD FOCUS RS with front end damage, the median was $6,000, from $3,550 to $10,400. That is 18% below the $7,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,050 a good price for this 2017 FORD FOCUS RS?

Accepted Answer

35 comparable 2017 FORD FOCUS RS listings sold at auction for a median of $7,300, spanning $3,750 to $10,500. At $4,050 this one went 45% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this FORD FOCUS RS?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD FOCUS RS was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this FORD FOCUS RS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in VA - CULPEPER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Norfolk, roughly 120 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 45,101 miles high for a 2017 FORD FOCUS RS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD FOCUS RS listings at auction averaged 67,727 miles across 35 sales, so at 45,101 miles this one sits 33% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This FORD FOCUS RS has front end and right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
