Question 1

What do rear 2019 FORD EXPLORER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 98 recorded sales of the 2019 FORD EXPLORER with rear damage, the median was $5,100, from $3,550 to $8,225. That is 10% above the $4,625 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a ab-non-repairable-alberta mean for this FORD EXPLORER?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 FORD EXPLORER was sold on a ab-non-repairable-alberta. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 3

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 FORD EXPLORER. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 136,391 miles high for a 2019 FORD EXPLORER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 FORD EXPLORER listings at auction averaged 92,190 miles across 1604 sales, so at 136,391 miles this one sits 48% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This FORD EXPLORER has rear and left rear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Where was this FORD EXPLORER located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in ALBERTA - ROCKYVIEW. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.
