Question 1

What do front end 2019 FORD EXPEDITION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 717 recorded sales of the 2019 FORD EXPEDITION with front end damage, the median was $6,800, from $4,200 to $10,200. That is 6% below the $7,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,200 a good price for this 2019 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

1431 comparable 2019 FORD EXPEDITION listings sold at auction for a median of $7,200, spanning $4,350 to $11,600. At $4,200 this one went 42% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD EXPEDITION sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 FORD EXPEDITION's pre-damage retail value at $14,900. It sold for $4,200 — 72% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 FORD EXPEDITION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This FORD EXPEDITION has front end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 137,218 miles high for a 2019 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 FORD EXPEDITION listings at auction averaged 112,187 miles across 1431 sales, so at 137,218 miles this one sits 22% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
