Question 1

What do rear end 2024 FORD EXPEDITION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 78 recorded sales of the 2024 FORD EXPEDITION with rear end damage, the median was $21,600, from $11,200 to $32,000. That is 14% above the $18,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $20,500 a good price for this 2024 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

1249 comparable 2024 FORD EXPEDITION listings sold at auction for a median of $18,900, spanning $7,600 to $32,250. At $20,500 this one went 8% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD EXPEDITION sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2024 FORD EXPEDITION's pre-damage retail value at $59,146. It sold for $20,500 — 65% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

This 2024 FORD EXPEDITION was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

Is 17,259 miles high for a 2024 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2024 FORD EXPEDITION listings at auction averaged 33,912 miles across 1249 sales, so at 17,259 miles this one sits 49% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this FORD EXPEDITION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in TN - MADISONVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 400 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $350-$475, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
