What do front end 2020 FORD EXPEDITION models sell for?

Across 688 recorded sales of the 2020 FORD EXPEDITION with front end damage, the median was $7,600, from $4,350 to $11,500. That is 7% below the $8,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $11,700 a good price for this 2020 FORD EXPEDITION?

1418 comparable 2020 FORD EXPEDITION listings sold at auction for a median of $8,200, spanning $4,500 to $14,100. At $11,700 this one went 43% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD EXPEDITION sell for?

The insurer put this 2020 FORD EXPEDITION's pre-damage retail value at $37,372. It sold for $11,700 — 69% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD EXPEDITION?

This 2020 FORD EXPEDITION was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 FORD EXPEDITION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Is 49,163 miles high for a 2020 FORD EXPEDITION?

Comparable 2020 FORD EXPEDITION listings at auction averaged 98,270 miles across 1418 sales, so at 49,163 miles this one sits 50% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
