What do hail 2023 FORD EXPEDITION models sell for?

Across 25 recorded sales of the 2023 FORD EXPEDITION with hail damage, the median was $25,500, from $18,500 to $29,525. That is 59% above the $16,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $29,250 a good price for this 2023 FORD EXPEDITION?

793 comparable 2023 FORD EXPEDITION listings sold at auction for a median of $16,000, spanning $7,250 to $27,250. At $29,250 this one went 83% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD EXPEDITION sell for?

The insurer put this 2023 FORD EXPEDITION's pre-damage retail value at $54,809. It sold for $29,250 — 47% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 FORD EXPEDITION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

What does a clean title mean for this FORD EXPEDITION?

This 2023 FORD EXPEDITION was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Is 47,056 miles high for a 2023 FORD EXPEDITION?

Comparable 2023 FORD EXPEDITION listings at auction averaged 50,449 miles across 793 sales, so at 47,056 miles this one sits 7% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
