What do hail 2020 FORD EXPEDITION models sell for?

Across 88 recorded sales of the 2020 FORD EXPEDITION with hail damage, the median was $12,050, from $6,600 to $17,500. That is 47% above the $8,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $12,500 a good price for this 2020 FORD EXPEDITION?

1421 comparable 2020 FORD EXPEDITION listings sold at auction for a median of $8,200, spanning $4,500 to $14,025. At $12,500 this one went 52% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD EXPEDITION sell for?

The insurer put this 2020 FORD EXPEDITION's pre-damage retail value at $33,564. It sold for $12,500 — 63% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD EXPEDITION?

This 2020 FORD EXPEDITION was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Is 98,125 miles high for a 2020 FORD EXPEDITION?

Comparable 2020 FORD EXPEDITION listings at auction averaged 98,250 miles across 1421 sales, so at 98,125 miles this one sits 0% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 FORD EXPEDITION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
