Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2017 FORD EXPEDITION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 14 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD EXPEDITION with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $3,600, from $3,000 to $5,000. That is 8% below the $3,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,200 a good price for this 2017 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

496 comparable 2017 FORD EXPEDITION listings sold at auction for a median of $3,900, spanning $3,100 to $7,200. At $7,200 this one went 85% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD EXPEDITION sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 FORD EXPEDITION's pre-damage retail value at $13,760. It sold for $7,200 — 48% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this FORD EXPEDITION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in PA - WEST MIFFLIN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 150 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does a clean title mean for this FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD EXPEDITION was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 6

Is 107,337 miles high for a 2017 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD EXPEDITION listings at auction averaged 117,273 miles across 496 sales, so at 107,337 miles this one sits 8% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
