Question 1

What do rollover 2018 FORD EXPEDITION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 13 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD EXPEDITION with rollover damage, the median was $4,213, from $3,600 to $6,300. That is 40% below the $7,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,650 a good price for this 2018 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

1415 comparable 2018 FORD EXPEDITION listings sold at auction for a median of $7,000, spanning $4,300 to $10,550. At $3,650 this one went 48% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD EXPEDITION sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 FORD EXPEDITION's pre-damage retail value at $25,233. It sold for $3,650 — 86% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a non-repairable mean for this FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 FORD EXPEDITION was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 5

How far is this FORD EXPEDITION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - OPA LOCKA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 33,004 miles high for a 2018 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 FORD EXPEDITION listings at auction averaged 125,300 miles across 1415 sales, so at 33,004 miles this one sits 74% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
