What do rear end 2019 FORD EDGE models sell for?

Across 328 recorded sales of the 2019 FORD EDGE with rear end damage, the median was $4,750, from $3,400 to $7,200. That is 8% above the $4,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $5,100 a good price for this 2019 FORD EDGE?

2932 comparable 2019 FORD EDGE listings sold at auction for a median of $4,400, spanning $3,250 to $7,100. At $5,100 this one went 16% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD EDGE sell for?

The insurer put this 2019 FORD EDGE's pre-damage retail value at $17,628. It sold for $5,100 — 71% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

How far is this FORD EDGE from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in GA - FAIRBURN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 250 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 FORD EDGE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Is 73,940 miles high for a 2019 FORD EDGE?

Comparable 2019 FORD EDGE listings at auction averaged 85,364 miles across 2932 sales, so at 73,940 miles this one sits 13% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
