Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2023 FORD EDGE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 13 recorded sales of the 2023 FORD EDGE with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $8,200, from $6,600 to $17,200. That is 21% above the $6,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $17,200 a good price for this 2023 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

892 comparable 2023 FORD EDGE listings sold at auction for a median of $6,800, spanning $3,950 to $13,750. At $17,200 this one went 153% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a dis/dlr/exp only clean title mean for this FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 FORD EDGE was sold on a dis/dlr/exp only clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 FORD EDGE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this FORD EDGE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - SUN VALLEY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 1,095 miles high for a 2023 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 FORD EDGE listings at auction averaged 43,667 miles across 892 sales, so at 1,095 miles this one sits 97% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
