Was $7,925 a good price for this 2021 FORD EDGE?

1175 comparable 2021 FORD EDGE listings sold at auction for a median of $5,588, spanning $3,550 to $10,400. At $7,925 this one went 42% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

This FORD EDGE sold without keys — does that matter?

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD EDGE sell for?

The insurer put this 2021 FORD EDGE's pre-damage retail value at $16,400. It sold for $7,925 — 52% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a clear (arizona) mean for this FORD EDGE?

This 2021 FORD EDGE was sold on a clear (arizona). A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

This FORD EDGE has normal wear & tear and damage — how does that affect it?

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Is 81,497 miles high for a 2021 FORD EDGE?

Comparable 2021 FORD EDGE listings at auction averaged 67,107 miles across 1175 sales, so at 81,497 miles this one sits 21% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
