Question 1

Was $7,750 a good price for this 2025 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE?

Accepted Answer

792 comparable 2025 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE listings sold at auction for a median of $15,300, spanning $8,100 to $23,100. At $7,750 this one went 49% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a non-repairable mean for this CHEVROLET TRAVERSE?

Accepted Answer

This 2025 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 3

How far is this CHEVROLET TRAVERSE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MI - BYRON CENTER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 550 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $475-$650, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 14,403 miles high for a 2025 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2025 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE listings at auction averaged 13,139 miles across 792 sales, so at 14,403 miles this one sits 10% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2025 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Who sold this 2025 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
