Question 1

What do rear 2018 CHEVROLET TAHOE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 21 recorded sales of the 2018 CHEVROLET TAHOE with rear damage, the median was $8,100, from $5,300 to $10,600. That is 19% above the $6,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,425 a good price for this 2018 CHEVROLET TAHOE?

Accepted Answer

1239 comparable 2018 CHEVROLET TAHOE listings sold at auction for a median of $6,800, spanning $3,850 to $12,100. At $8,425 this one went 24% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This CHEVROLET TAHOE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this CHEVROLET TAHOE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in IL - CASEYVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does a salvage-il mean for this CHEVROLET TAHOE?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 CHEVROLET TAHOE was sold on a salvage-il. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 1 miles high for a 2018 CHEVROLET TAHOE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 CHEVROLET TAHOE listings at auction averaged 114,309 miles across 1239 sales, so at 1 miles this one sits 100% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
