Question 1

What do front end 2016 CHEVROLET TAHOE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 759 recorded sales of the 2016 CHEVROLET TAHOE with front end damage, the median was $5,100, from $3,350 to $8,100. That is 6% below the $5,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this CHEVROLET TAHOE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - SUN VALLEY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

This CHEVROLET TAHOE has front end and rear end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 132,654 miles high for a 2016 CHEVROLET TAHOE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 CHEVROLET TAHOE listings at auction averaged 144,129 miles across 1662 sales, so at 132,654 miles this one sits 8% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2016 CHEVROLET TAHOE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 1GNLCDEC8GR316628?

Accepted Answer

1GNLCDEC8GR316628 identifies this specific 2016 CHEVROLET TAHOE in black with a 5.3l 8 engine, rear wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
