Question 1

What do left rear 2017 CHEVROLET TAHOE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 14 recorded sales of the 2017 CHEVROLET TAHOE with left rear damage, the median was $6,450, from $3,475 to $8,500. That is 6% above the $6,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,450 a good price for this 2017 CHEVROLET TAHOE?

Accepted Answer

1541 comparable 2017 CHEVROLET TAHOE listings sold at auction for a median of $6,100, spanning $3,650 to $10,450. At $3,450 this one went 43% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this CHEVROLET TAHOE?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 CHEVROLET TAHOE was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this CHEVROLET TAHOE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in AL - BESSEMER. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 350 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$425, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 CHEVROLET TAHOE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 189,488 miles high for a 2017 CHEVROLET TAHOE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 CHEVROLET TAHOE listings at auction averaged 128,218 miles across 1541 sales, so at 189,488 miles this one sits 48% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
