Question 1

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 CHEVROLET MALIBU. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 2

This CHEVROLET MALIBU has left & right side and front & rear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 3

Is 95,312 miles high for a 2020 CHEVROLET MALIBU?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 CHEVROLET MALIBU listings at auction averaged 75,559 miles across 1644 sales, so at 95,312 miles this one sits 26% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

What can I find out from VIN 1G1ZD5ST9LF054424?

Accepted Answer

1G1ZD5ST9LF054424 identifies this specific 2020 CHEVROLET MALIBU in grey with a 1.5l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, turbo, regular , 160hp engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 5

Did this 2020 CHEVROLET MALIBU come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with left & right side damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2020 CHEVROLET MALIBU from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2020 CHEVROLET MALIBU was listed at IAAI as lot 46318635 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
