Question 1

What do rear end 2023 AUDI A5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 38 recorded sales of the 2023 AUDI A5 with rear end damage, the median was $14,700, from $7,400 to $19,900. That is 11% above the $13,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $26,250 a good price for this 2023 AUDI A5?

Accepted Answer

408 comparable 2023 AUDI A5 listings sold at auction for a median of $13,300, spanning $5,800 to $19,800. At $26,250 this one went 97% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this AUDI A5 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2023 AUDI A5's pre-damage retail value at $47,123. It sold for $26,250 — 44% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

Is 5,545 miles high for a 2023 AUDI A5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 AUDI A5 listings at auction averaged 26,305 miles across 408 sales, so at 5,545 miles this one sits 79% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

How far is this AUDI A5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in WI - MILWAUKEE SOUTH. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 850 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $550-$800, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 AUDI A5. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
