Question 1

What do left front 2016 VOLVO XC90 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 16 recorded sales of the 2016 VOLVO XC90 with left front damage, the median was $5,050, from $3,850 to $8,300. That is 20% below the $6,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,825 a good price for this 2016 VOLVO XC90?

Accepted Answer

1477 comparable 2016 VOLVO XC90 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,300, spanning $3,850 to $9,700. At $6,825 this one went 8% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this VOLVO XC90?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 VOLVO XC90 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 VOLVO XC90. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this VOLVO XC90 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in ID - MERIDIAN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 500 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $425-$600, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 66,731 miles high for a 2016 VOLVO XC90?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 VOLVO XC90 listings at auction averaged 122,930 miles across 1477 sales, so at 66,731 miles this one sits 46% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
