Question 1

What do flood 2016 VOLVO XC90 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 27 recorded sales of the 2016 VOLVO XC90 with flood damage, the median was $5,338, from $3,300 to $8,450. That is 14% below the $6,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,475 a good price for this 2016 VOLVO XC90?

Accepted Answer

1506 comparable 2016 VOLVO XC90 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,200, spanning $3,800 to $9,550. At $5,475 this one went 12% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This VOLVO XC90 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a salvage mean for this VOLVO XC90?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 VOLVO XC90 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

How far is this VOLVO XC90 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NH - RIVERSIDE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 280 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 109,100 miles high for a 2016 VOLVO XC90?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 VOLVO XC90 listings at auction averaged 123,341 miles across 1506 sales, so at 109,100 miles this one sits 12% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
