Question 1

What does a salvage mean for this VOLVO XC90?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 VOLVO XC90 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 2

How far is this VOLVO XC90 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in KY - EMINENCE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 500 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $425-$600, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 VOLVO XC90. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 90,973 miles high for a 2018 VOLVO XC90?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 VOLVO XC90 listings at auction averaged 103,020 miles across 894 sales, so at 90,973 miles this one sits 12% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2018 VOLVO XC90 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with undercarriage damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2018 VOLVO XC90 from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 VOLVO XC90 was listed at IAAI as lot 43885297 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
