What do mechanical 2016 VOLVO XC90 models sell for?

Across 89 recorded sales of the 2016 VOLVO XC90 with mechanical damage, the median was $5,400, from $3,850 to $8,000. That is 13% below the $6,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $7,000 a good price for this 2016 VOLVO XC90?

1503 comparable 2016 VOLVO XC90 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,200, spanning $3,850 to $9,600. At $7,000 this one went 13% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this VOLVO XC90 sell for?

The insurer put this 2016 VOLVO XC90's pre-damage retail value at $12,700. It sold for $7,000 — 45% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does "ENGINE START PROGRAM" mean on this listing?

ENGINE START PROGRAM is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 VOLVO XC90. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Is 180,911 miles high for a 2016 VOLVO XC90?

Comparable 2016 VOLVO XC90 listings at auction averaged 123,222 miles across 1503 sales, so at 180,911 miles this one sits 47% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

How far is this VOLVO XC90 from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in KS - KANSAS CITY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
