Question 1

What do front end 2021 VOLVO XC90 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 234 recorded sales of the 2021 VOLVO XC90 with front end damage, the median was $11,550, from $5,600 to $19,300. That is 9% below the $12,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,825 a good price for this 2021 VOLVO XC90?

Accepted Answer

529 comparable 2021 VOLVO XC90 listings sold at auction for a median of $12,650, spanning $6,400 to $21,200. At $7,825 this one went 38% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this VOLVO XC90 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NY - MEDFORD. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 61,742 miles high for a 2021 VOLVO XC90?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 VOLVO XC90 listings at auction averaged 63,112 miles across 529 sales, so at 61,742 miles this one sits 2% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This VOLVO XC90 has front end and left side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 VOLVO XC90. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
