Question 1

Was $8,450 a good price for this 2020 VOLVO XC90?

Accepted Answer

535 comparable 2020 VOLVO XC90 listings sold at auction for a median of $10,800, spanning $5,500 to $16,600. At $8,450 this one went 22% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a salvage mean for this VOLVO XC90?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 VOLVO XC90 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

How far is this VOLVO XC90 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in PA - EAST FREEDOM. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 150 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 VOLVO XC90. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 127,243 miles high for a 2020 VOLVO XC90?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 VOLVO XC90 listings at auction averaged 74,510 miles across 535 sales, so at 127,243 miles this one sits 71% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This VOLVO XC90 has right front and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
