Question 1

What do left side 2016 VOLVO XC90 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 27 recorded sales of the 2016 VOLVO XC90 with left side damage, the median was $6,513, from $4,500 to $8,900. That is 5% above the $6,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,100 a good price for this 2016 VOLVO XC90?

Accepted Answer

1506 comparable 2016 VOLVO XC90 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,200, spanning $3,800 to $9,550. At $8,100 this one went 31% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this VOLVO XC90 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in WA - PUYALLUP. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 60 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 95,549 miles high for a 2016 VOLVO XC90?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 VOLVO XC90 listings at auction averaged 123,341 miles across 1506 sales, so at 95,549 miles this one sits 23% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 VOLVO XC90. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Did this 2016 VOLVO XC90 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with left side damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
