Question 1

What do water/flood 2020 VOLVO XC60 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 26 recorded sales of the 2020 VOLVO XC60 with water/flood damage, the median was $8,100, from $6,200 to $14,100. That is 13% below the $9,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,700 a good price for this 2020 VOLVO XC60?

Accepted Answer

433 comparable 2020 VOLVO XC60 listings sold at auction for a median of $9,300, spanning $4,700 to $15,000. At $6,700 this one went 28% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this VOLVO XC60 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 VOLVO XC60's pre-damage retail value at $25,700. It sold for $6,700 — 74% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this VOLVO XC60?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 VOLVO XC60 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 VOLVO XC60. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 124,206 miles high for a 2020 VOLVO XC60?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 VOLVO XC60 listings at auction averaged 64,228 miles across 433 sales, so at 124,206 miles this one sits 93% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
