Question 1

Was $6,050 a good price for this 2015 VOLVO XC60?

Accepted Answer

70 comparable 2015 VOLVO XC60 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,800, spanning $4,150 to $7,700. At $6,050 this one went 4% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this VOLVO XC60 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2015 VOLVO XC60's pre-damage retail value at $16,536. It sold for $6,050 — 63% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a clear (oklahoma) mean for this VOLVO XC60?

Accepted Answer

This 2015 VOLVO XC60 was sold on a clear (oklahoma). A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

Is 88,882 miles high for a 2015 VOLVO XC60?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2015 VOLVO XC60 listings at auction averaged 94,486 miles across 70 sales, so at 88,882 miles this one sits 6% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "Run & Drive" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

Run & Drive is the auction's own condition note for this 2015 VOLVO XC60. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

This VOLVO XC60 has front end and damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
