Question 1

What do rear end 2016 VOLVO XC60 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 34 recorded sales of the 2016 VOLVO XC60 with rear end damage, the median was $4,800, from $3,350 to $7,000. That is 14% above the $4,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,250 a good price for this 2016 VOLVO XC60?

Accepted Answer

346 comparable 2016 VOLVO XC60 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,200, spanning $3,200 to $6,800. At $3,250 this one went 23% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this VOLVO XC60 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 VOLVO XC60's pre-damage retail value at $8,513. It sold for $3,250 — 62% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this VOLVO XC60 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in VT - CENTER RUTLAND. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 300 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does a salvage title mean for this VOLVO XC60?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 VOLVO XC60 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 123,574 miles high for a 2016 VOLVO XC60?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 VOLVO XC60 listings at auction averaged 96,127 miles across 346 sales, so at 123,574 miles this one sits 29% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
