Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2016 VOLVO XC60 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 10 recorded sales of the 2016 VOLVO XC60 with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $3,513, from $3,175 to $7,000. That is 16% below the $4,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,375 a good price for this 2016 VOLVO XC60?

Accepted Answer

345 comparable 2016 VOLVO XC60 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,200, spanning $3,200 to $6,600. At $3,375 this one went 20% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this VOLVO XC60?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 VOLVO XC60 was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 VOLVO XC60. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this VOLVO XC60 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - BAY POINT. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 89,783 miles high for a 2016 VOLVO XC60?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 VOLVO XC60 listings at auction averaged 96,147 miles across 345 sales, so at 89,783 miles this one sits 7% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
