Question 1

What do rear 2018 VOLVO XC60 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 18 recorded sales of the 2018 VOLVO XC60 with rear damage, the median was $8,600, from $5,700 to $12,100. That is 1% above the $8,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,000 a good price for this 2018 VOLVO XC60?

Accepted Answer

622 comparable 2018 VOLVO XC60 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,500, spanning $4,500 to $12,800. At $4,000 this one went 53% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this VOLVO XC60?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 VOLVO XC60 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this VOLVO XC60 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in WV - BUCKHANNON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 300 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 128,320 miles high for a 2018 VOLVO XC60?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 VOLVO XC60 listings at auction averaged 85,729 miles across 622 sales, so at 128,320 miles this one sits 50% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 VOLVO XC60. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
