Question 1

What do mechanical 2016 VOLVO XC60 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 13 recorded sales of the 2016 VOLVO XC60 with mechanical damage, the median was $3,500, from $3,000 to $4,500. That is 17% below the $4,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,000 a good price for this 2016 VOLVO XC60?

Accepted Answer

345 comparable 2016 VOLVO XC60 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,200, spanning $3,200 to $6,800. At $8,000 this one went 90% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a certificate of title mean for this VOLVO XC60?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 VOLVO XC60 was sold on a certificate of title. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

How far is this VOLVO XC60 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in IN - DYER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 600 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $500-$725, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED VEHICLES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED VEHICLES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 VOLVO XC60. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

This VOLVO XC60 has mechanical and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
