Was $4,225 a good price for this 2017 VOLVO XC60?

395 comparable 2017 VOLVO XC60 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,650, spanning $3,200 to $6,900. At $4,225 this one went 9% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this VOLVO XC60 sell for?

The insurer put this 2017 VOLVO XC60's pre-damage retail value at $22,632. It sold for $4,225 — 81% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does "Stationary" mean on this listing?

Stationary is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 VOLVO XC60. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

This VOLVO XC60 has front end and left front damage — how does that affect it?

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Is 65,871 miles high for a 2017 VOLVO XC60?

Comparable 2017 VOLVO XC60 listings at auction averaged 90,389 miles across 395 sales, so at 65,871 miles this one sits 27% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Who sold this 2017 VOLVO XC60?

The listing seller was State Farm Group Insurance. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
